Nartex Barcelona participated in a European Union Project called “Promotion and development of the creative economy in 22 districts of Bissau as a vector of sustainable and inclusive economic growth”. Its areas of responsibility included design, guidance and monitoring on the Cultural Cartography of the nation, especially the areas of Bissau, Bafatá and Gabú; education and training programs on cultural policies; new skills training on communication and virtual spaces & channels. The development of such a project involved 5 field missions for the team and was carried out in collaboration with the UNESCO Chair of the University of Girona and the Associação de Ajuda de Desenvolvimento de Povo for Povo Guiné-Bissau (ADPP/GB) (http://www.adpp-gb.org/pt/projetos/cultura/).
